The Evans Signature Dentistry team is thrilled to welcome Dr. Justice J. Harrison.

Justice was born and raised in New Orleans, LA. He has lived in a number of cities throughout the southeastern region but has chosen to make Georgia his home to remain close to his family. He attended Hampton University in Hampton, VA where he received his bachelor’s degree. Dr. Harrison went on to earn a Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from the Dental College of Georgia here in Augusta, GA. He is described as friendly, an excellent listener, and a profound communicator.

Dr. Harrison states, “I am privileged to be in a position to be a positive contributor to the many smiles I encounter. It is my pleasure to restore people’s self-confidence through their smiles. I take a comprehensive approach to oral health, and I believe that good oral health starts with good oral health habits. My passion for dentistry is rooted in the endless potential to make a difference in people’s lives, one smile at a time.”

Dr. Harrison is accompanied by his fiancé, who is pursuing a Doctor of Physical Therapy degree at Augusta University. In their spare time, they enjoy fitness, investments, travel, and spending time with their families.

I obtained my Doctor of Dental Medicine from the Dental College of Georgia and my bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology.

I have been licensed to practice in the state of Georgia, and I am honored to continue to provide quality dental care to the families of Evans, Martinez, Augusta and their surrounding areas.

My passion for dentistry came from my sister in-law. I wanted to work in a profession where I could use my hands while helping people. Dentistry is a rewarding field where I can get instant gratification while improving a patient’s smile, which in turn improves their quality of life, oral health and self-confidence. I live by one philosophy: My patients are to be treated the same as I would like to be treated while providing quality dental care.

I strongly believe that continuing education is essential in providing quality dental care. Through continuing education, I am given an opportunity to stay current on the latest techniques and procedures in dentistry. I am constantly striving to enhance my knowledge through continuing education, reading professional literature and being a member of several professional organizations.

I strongly believe the best quality of care is through prevention, and my team and I place emphasis on this from day one. Prevention can only be achieved through proper education, so after performing a thorough dental examination, my team and I will sit down with each patient one on one and explain the risks and benefits of each treatment plan using dental models and visual aids. With the patient’s active involvement, we will come up with a treatment plan designed for to meet their specific dental needs. I strongly believe patient involvement and compliance is a key factor in delivering the best dental care that I can provide.

Outside the Office
I am originally from Austell, Georgia, and I met my wife during my first year in dental school. We fell in love with the Evans areas, and we decided to stay here. It is great place to raise a family while enjoying the amenities that big cities have to offer, without the traffic. We have three children, two boys and one girl, and plan to raise them all here. I spend my free time with my family, playing with a ball in the backyard, taking a stroll around the neighborhood, going on a short trip, or simply going to a park and having a picnic. I strongly believe that the family that plays together, eats together and prays together, stays together. As for hobbies, I like to hike, travel, read professional dental literature and work on cars. My family and I strongly believe in supporting our community through various means, such as volunteering and offering free services.
